One of our main objectives is to analyze the impacts effects of environmental exposures on human health. In the context of environmental health, the recognition, acknowledging that exposures can induce mutations in DNA represents a fundamental milestone for assessing risks and preventing potential harm. Consequently, we have categorized chemical agents based on their ability capacity to alter the DNA sequence. This information plays a crucial role in determining environmental risks and shaping current regulations to reduce exposure. However, recent discoveries suggest that the molecular impact of the environment may extend well beyond interaction with DNA sequence.
